This Multiplication as a Comparison Mystery Picture Reveal Activity includes 16 math problems for students to practice their math skills. Review multiplication equation skills and fact fluency up to 12 with your students in a fun way. The digital activity was designed in Google Sheets™ and can be used in Google Classroom™. Students will be asked to interpret a multiplication equation as a comparison, e.g., interpret 35 = 5 × 7 as a statement that 35 is 5 times as many as 7 and 7 times as many as 5. Represent verbal statements of multiplicative comparisons as multiplication equations.
Students will solve a math problem and enter their answer. If the answer is correct, a piece of the image will be revealed. Once all questions are answered correctly, the full image will be revealed which displays a kid-friendly joke.
