Ashley E. –
Great resource. The students found it beneficial and it was a good review of the content we have been working on. Thank you!
Elizabeth P. –
Great resource to use with students during social studies to teach the Constitution/Preamble
Nicole D. –
This was a fun way to go over the preamble and reinforce the use of text evidence. That being said, the directions for coloring and the numbers on the coloring page do not align. For instance, on the questions for number two it states “purple stripes” for coloring the correct answer but the letter “R” is labeled 2 and the stripes are labeled 11. Since this is a PDF, there is no means of correcting it on my end. Directing my 8th graders to follow the numbers of the questions and not any shapes listed under the correct answer was a bit of a disaster. When I showed them my answer key to check their work there was a lot of questions and confusion.

Great! Thanks. I purchased the Branches of Government reading and that came with a summary section, I wish this one did too! But I just had them write it on the back ๐

Fantastic and Fun in 5th –
My students used this with a sub while I was out. I have one lower class and one that is a SPED co teaching class. Both were obsessed with this resource and talked about it for a few days. they were so excited to show me their pages when I got back. Please keep in mind these are 5th graders!
The sub loved how easy it was to follow and do with the students. It also took the full block schedule and he said they were focused the whole time!
I highly recommend this source as part of your sub plans!
