***STUDENT GOOGLE ACCOUNTS™ REQUIRED FOR USE***

Students will read 4 short passages, then answer questions related to each passage. After correctly answering the questions, they will be given a “clue.” They will then decode 4 puzzles to help them determine the final lock code.

There are 4 sets of color-coded activities. For example, there is a BLUE 4 icon for a reading passage, a BLUE question mark for questions related to the BLUE reading passage and a BLUE controller icon for a puzzle related to the reading.

It is your responsibility to ensure the links will work prior to your purchase. Test these links first on a student account.

21 reviews for Salem Witch Trials DIGITAL ESCAPE ROOM for Google Drive® | Distance Learning

  1. Leona S. –

This was a great resource that my students loved and kept them engaged.

  2. Ginny W. –

My kiddos are having a great time with this. Explaining it the first time was a lot and they were a little confused, but once they got going they had a great time. They learned quickly they can’t take the shortcut of not reading and guessing on the answers. Overall my kids are having fun with this and are engaged, which is about all you can ask for a week from Fall Break. I used this in a co-taught setting too, but the students who are well below their peers did struggle some with this.

  3. Whitney Ward –

Easy to use, clear instructions, and it saved me so much time. Thank you!

  4. Caitlin G. –

Great resource, very easy to use, and comprehensive, the perfect resource to accompany the unit!

  5. The Secondary Spark –

excellent resource to use after unit completion. Students love these!

  6. Melissa L. –

A fun activity to pair with The Crucible. The students worked in groups and had fun with this.

  7. elizabeth S. –

MY CLASS LOVED THIS WEBQUEST! THE CLASS WORKED TOGETHER AND WE HAD FUN USING IT

  8. Historical Endeavors –

Great activity for virtual learning. Students enjoyed this lesson.

  9. Katelyn B. –

This was such a fun Halloween activity for my students. Thank you!

  10. Becky D. –

This was AMAZING! I used it to kick off my unit and it was so, so awesome. Definitely read through all of the instructions first, but it was so informational and fun. The kids loved it!

  11. The Year of Winslow –

Very engaging activity to end a mini unit on the Salem Witch Trials

  12. Jessica Day Neumann –

I used this as a culminating activity for my 6th graders and they LOVED it! The rooms were not too difficult to navigate and the quizzes/puzzles were challenging without being impossible. Thank you for creating this!

  13. Low And Behold –

ThinkTank always has amazing products. Unfortunately, this was not amazing for my class. They had a really difficult time navigating the room and clues. It may have been the Chromebooks, but they were unable to share their puzzles. My students found it very confusing. It took us two class periods to complete. I can recommend so many products from ThinkTank, but I would not recommend this one for seventh graders. This may work better with high schoolers.

  14. Jennifer C. –

Kids loved learning about this. easy resource to adapt as needed

  15. Kathy H. –

My students really enjoyed learning about the Salem Trials but we found it a little difficult to navigate.

  16. hillary S. –

    Very difficult to manipulate.

  17. Shannon Probst –

This was a great introduction to The Crucible!

  18. Angela Haas –

Great interactive way to learn about the Salem Witch Trials!

  19. Miss Donnelly’s Daily Apple –

This was a great resource for my kids to engage with the Salem Witch Trials and have “fun” homework. The only drawback was that it can be confusing to move around the rooms, and a bit challenging to know exactly what to do. I found that I needed to go through some of the rooms with them to avoid frustration. (Perhaps because I used this with lower grades – 5/6th.)

However, they enjoyed it and I think it felt like a game to them – which is awesome!

  20. Kathrine N. –

    My students LOVED this!
