The Christmas Escape Room will take students on a secret mission around the classroom, reading comprehension passages, and answering questions! This escape room has students decode interesting facts about fun facts about Christmas, number of candy canes made per year, where the gingerbread house and stockings originated, oldest Christmas card, etc.

This Christmas escape room is a high-energy. We love it so much.
Read Without Tears –
I’ve used this with my 6th-, 7th-, and 8th-grade Reading Intervention students. Everyone enjoys the escape room. It takes my 6th graders much longer to figure out how to work together than it does the older students, so it usually takes them more than one 45-minute class period. The 7th- and 8th-graders can usually *just* escape in 45 minutes. I highly recommend this resource.

Although this resource has many positive reviews, I found this resource challenging to navigate due to missing instructions and inconsistencies between materials. I was unable to use this resource with my students. I contacted the seller for clarification but did not receive a response.

My students always love doing escape rooms! They love to compete against other groups for the prize of getting to write their name on the white board.

As a substitute teacher, I am so thankful to have had this resource in my bag! The facts in each clue were interesting and the puzzles were perfect for 4th graders to understand. (My 3rd graders needed too much help, so I will use only for 4th grade and higher next year.) My absolute favorite of this activity was when a student said, “this is so interesting and fun!”
Thank you for a great activity!
