I used this in class today. I let them complete it with a friend. After they were finished, I asked what they thought of this activity. Some liked it since it was different than usual. Some were confused because there was nothing to submit. Others thought it should have a reading to go along with it. I did not understand that last one. I do feel that the kids did not take the time to read. I had one student say we should have done this together on the big screen. I may keep that in mind for next year. I do plan to show them tomorrow how this was just like the reading comprehension activities we have done in the past. It was just broken into smaller bites. I might also think of some way where they have something to submit. Love the fresh take on the reading comprehension activity though.
