  1. Morgan W. –

I love escape rooms and the Industrial Revolution! The ease of printing and going forward is beautiful. The puzzles can sometimes be tricky for my 5th graders, so I prefer to use this resource as a review (instead of an introduction/engagement piece to the topic) because then students can focus more on the puzzles than the material. Regardless, I love Think Tank’s Escape Rooms and am happy with learning students. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Jena H. –

  5. Cynthia B. –

I am on the lower end of the suggested grade levels for this resource. That being said, the reading level was a little high for my students so it was difficult for this to be an independent activity for my 5th graders. Overall, high quality and good information.

My 7th graders really enjoyed this activity. I had them work in their groups to solve the puzzle and they had such a great time doing this. They had to utilize their notes to help them out and were really practicing their critical thinking skills. I will definitely be purchasing more of these escape rooms in the future.

This activity was a little easy for 6th grade. We used it as a kickoff to an in-depth look at the industrial revolution in Europe. They enjoyed it!
