I used this to start my USII class this year (11th grade) and they’d never seen an activity like this! They had a lot of fun trying to figure the puzzles out and I got to informally assess their problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

  17. Zelda S. –

My students absolutely LOVED this activity! The difficulty level was perfect for my 4th and 5th graders — hard enough to keep them engaged for 45 minutes but totally doable when they collaborated with their peers. My 4th graders especially were enthralled by the Labor Day “story” that goes with the puzzles. Something that I added was giving them little homemade “pay checks” when they turned in their correct answers. They all insisted we do more escape rooms in the future, and I will definitely be purchasing them from this creator!

  18. Rebecca H. –

This is the second Escape Room that I have purchased from you and my students love them. They were challenging for my higher learners, but not to difficult for mixed ability students!!

  19. Jennifer T. –

My students loved the activity and were engaged the entire class period. Thank you!

  20. Josephine W. –

Great way to teach about the holiday!
