My kids love escape rooms! This gave background information about what happend to the colonists at Roanoke. The ciphers were hard enough to make it a challenge, but not too difficult. My ex ed students were able to complete these with little to no trouble.

After we learned about the Lost Colony, my students begged to have more activities to learn even more about it so I bought this. They loved every minute of it, the topic is interesting to them and they love escape rooms, making this the perfect activity for them.

This was challenging, but we were able to get it done! I think in the future I will break it up into different days to make it more manageable for my class. I thought the codes were challenging but doable. I had to offer hints for some of the codes.
