Description
The Declaration of Independence DIGITAL Escape Room will take students on a secret mission through two 360° VIEW rooms! This escape room has students decode interesting facts about the Declaration of Independence, grievances, King George III, Second Continental Congress, John Locke, Unalienable rights, and resolution. Drag the mouse or keypad to move the screen for a 360 view! All you have to do is share the link with your students!! It’s THAT easy! No prior knowledge is needed.
***STUDENT GOOGLE ACCOUNTS™ REQUIRED FOR USE***
Students will read 4 short passages, then answer questions related to each passage. After correctly answering the questions, they will be given a “clue.” They will then decode 4 puzzles to help them determine the final lock code.
There are 4 sets of color-coded activities. For example, there is a BLUE 4 icon for a reading passage, a BLUE question mark for questions related to the BLUE reading passage and a BLUE controller icon for a puzzle related to the reading.
It is your responsibility to ensure the links will work prior to your purchase. Test these links first on a student account.

This was exactly what I needed for the day before a break – engaging and connected directly to what we had been studying. Thanks!
Bethany Meyers –
I love how easy this was to implement. My teacher heart was happy watching and listening to the students collaborate. I do wish there was a way to make it harder for my AIG students to be more challenged, but they enjoyed it. I asked students if I should do this activity again and they said a definite yes. It is a great way to add some fun into your unit.

I love this resource. Some of my students were unable to access all of the pages, due to my school’s firewall setup (no fault of the resource). Fun and engaging.

Lori L. –
I thought this was going to be a great resource for distance learning. I wanted a fun way for the students to learn about the Declaration of Independence. My students all have google accounts, I tried the link before purchasing to make sure it was going to open on the students end – everything seemed to work fine. Well, my students all have iPads and they couldn’t scroll through the answers, couldn’t navigate around the room to find the clues. I played on my laptop and it works great!! So, if you have iPads don’t purchase the product. If you have laptops purchase it – it’s fun!!
