Description
The Oregon Trail DIGITAL Escape Room will take students on a secret mission through two 360° VIEW rooms! This escape room has students decode interesting facts about the Oregon Trail and Westward Expansion. Drag the mouse or keypad to move the screen for a 360 view! All you have to do is share the link with your students!! It’s THAT easy! No prior knowledge is needed.
***STUDENT GOOGLE ACCOUNTS™ REQUIRED FOR USE***
Students will read 4 short passages, then answer questions related to each passage. After correctly answering the questions, they will be given a “clue.” They will then decode 4 puzzles to help them determine the final lock code.
There are 4 sets of color-coded activities. For example, there is a BLUE 4 icon for a reading passage, a BLUE question mark for questions related to the BLUE reading passage and a BLUE controller icon for a puzzle related to the reading.
It is your responsibility to ensure the links will work prior to your purchase. Test these links first on a student account.

My students really enjoyed this one. They were highly engaged after testing!
Sydney K. –
Purchased for students to use, as it is really engaging. Tried it out on our school programs and then once assigned to students it decided to not work. I really think that it’s important to test it out more to be able to use it with students.
Mandi Larsen –
Great resource that keep students engaged while they learn!
Teaching by Becky –
So much fun! My students didn’t grow up playing Oregon Trail, so this resource was a great way to introduce it!
Simmons Schoolhouse –
My students loved using your escape rooms. They would complete their assignments so much faster (and still had quality work) when they knew that I had an escape room planned for them. Thank you for making these challenging, but manageable. Students really liked the hidden images also. Some of the knowledge was covered in class and some was new learning–that was always fun. Thank you!!
Anne P. –
This worked great last year for remote learning. At this very moment, my in-person class is trying to access this and get a 404 error message. Does this not exist anymore? Do I need to buy it again? I need help quick!!
Lisa Fink –
A 404 error is a firewall issue set by your district. You’ll need to chat with your IT person.
Sarah C. –
My students enjoyed participating in this lesson because it was interactive. They could easily navigate through the two different rooms to find the information necessary to break out.
Juanita McLendon –

My students loved this resource as an early finisher. They enjoyed the interaction with it. I think only one link did not work. Once playing around with it, we understood it.

Wishful Learning by Beckie Lee –
What an engaging lesson! I gave parents the answer key so they could help their student for distance learning.
Julia G. –
My kids LOVED this escape room!! I do a huge Westward Expansion unit, and this whole distance learning thing put a huge kink in my plans – we usually do so many hands-on activities, and we missed our biggest field trip that is all about the Oregon Trail – so I was thrilled to find these escape rooms! The instructions are clear and the information/presentation has engaged students AND their parents! I’m SO grateful for these resources – thank you!!
