These are always a hit with my students. They love getting to move around to solve the clues. I always laminate each clue card/puzzle for future use.

My students had the most fun they have had in class all year with this escape game! It lined up with our content for Wit and Wisdom, Module 3 in 3rd grade. Even though the resource is listed for 4-8, my third graders did well with it in groups. I added the element to highlight text evidence and gave them a start on the decoding so we could finish it in one class period. This is a wonderful resource!

I used the resource as an extension while I RTIed with other students. When my students that I was working with finished they wanted to do the extension. Normally students that are behind only want to do what is required. Great assignment.

My students loved using this resource when learning about our nation’s independence. I used it as a Fourth of July activity with my 5th grade students. They loved learning about the Statue of Liberty and all the neat little facts about her. I very much recommend this resource.

Outstanding resource!

My students loved this lesson. Students demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills to solve each clue and it helped them learn more about the Statue of Liberty as they worked to escape. My students have asked me, “when can we do another escape room? It was really fun!” at least once a week since they completed this.
