***STUDENT GOOGLE ACCOUNTS™ REQUIRED FOR USE***

Students will read 4 short passages, then answer questions related to each passage. After correctly answering the questions, they will be given a “clue.” They will then decode 4 puzzles to help them determine the final lock code.

There are 4 sets of color-coded activities. For example, there is a BLUE 4 icon for a reading passage, a BLUE question mark for questions related to the BLUE reading passage and a BLUE controller icon for a puzzle related to the reading.

It is your responsibility to ensure the links will work prior to your purchase. Test these links first on a student account.

  1. ALEXIA T. –

This was an easy, low-prep activity. Just make sure all the links are unlocked on student computers by your tech dept.

  2. sarah C. –

A well crafted resource, That intrigued my students!!

  3. Amy A. –

These Escape Rooms are so much fun. Such a different approach for many of my students.

  4. elizabeth S. –

MY CLASS LOVED THIS WEBQUEST! THE CLASS WORKED TOGETHER AND WE HAD FUN USING IT

  5. Becky D. –

Super easy to use and very fun. I used this in tandem with our reading to support their understanding. It was amazing and just what I was looking for.

  6. RetroTeacher –

During some bad weather days, my students missed a few days of this unit and discussion of Westward Expansion. I used this escape room to allow them to explore parts of the unit independently before a quick whole class overview.

  7. Lincoln F. –

Students and I both found this very engaging and adequate rigor.

  8. Jess V. –

Students really enjoy these digital escape rooms and it works great with in class and online kiddos. Plus it is super easy to pop right into Google Classroom for students to access.

  9. Kassie Morneault –

I did this as a whole group activity with a hybrid classroom (Some students remotely attend and the rest are in my classroom). This activity was easy to follow and made a fun experience for my students while allowing them to maintain social distancing requirements! I projected the escape room and had students have theirs up as well so that we could puzzle through it as a class, but submit our codes independently. My kids LOVED this and asked to do more!

  10. Tatiana M. –

My students found this difficult digitally. I thought it was a great resource; however, in the future, I think this is probably easier to moderate if your students are in the classroom and you can assist a lot easier. Overall, I think the product is good.

  11. Kate V. –

    Great Resource!

  12. K Cal –

    Great resource

  13. Hollie M. –

This was a fantastic resource for distance learning. I followed it up with an overall quiz. Almost all of the students thought it was a super fun way to learn (even though it took more time than reading the lesson from the book, as several noted).
